Decorate your swimming pool for the holidays with this DIY Santa and Sleigh holiday craft project!

Here is everything you will need:

  • Mini Boat Rider
  • 2 Pool Noodles
  • Foam Boards
  • Pencil or Sharpie
  • Scissors
  • Red Cellophane Wrap
  • Spray Glue
  • Large Needle
  • White Paint Marker
  • Clear Cord
  • Ruler
  • Various Cardboard Boxes
  • Plastic Christmas Table Cloth
  • Polyester Ribbons
  • Clear Packing Tape

Directions:

Step 1: Take two pieces of foam board and draw a sleigh shape with a pencil or Sharpie on each

Step 2: Draw a holiday message of your choosing and decorations within the sleigh shape

Step 3: Cut out the sleigh shapes

Step 4: Cover the sleigh board with spray glue and wrap in red cellophane

Step 5: Trim excess cellophane as needed

Step 6: Take a large needle and poke holes into the sleigh boards at both top ends of the front and back.

Step 7: Use the White Paint Marker and redraw over your holiday message and decorations

Step 8: Take the pool noodles and cut them in half

Step 9: Slit noodle halves about 1.5” inward from either end

Step 10: Grab the sleigh shapes and slip them into the noodle slits

Step 11: Slip Mini Boat Rider float between boards

Step 12: Take the clear cord and run it from hole to hole in the front and back of the sleigh boards. Tighten and cut

Step 13: Wrap cardboard boxes in plastic tablecloths and bows (doesn’t have to be perfect).

Step 14: Pack the sleigh with presents

Step 15: Put sleigh in the water

Step 16: (optional) If you have extra presents, can place in the water to float
